The Zero Point Field (ZPF)
The Zero Point Field (ZPF) represents an enormous reservoir of energy that exists everywhere. When scientists attempt to create a complete vacuum devoid of all matter and energy, they cannot; but instead find a hive of activity.
The basic substructure of the universe is a sea of quantum fields. Think of this as being both the foundation and source of our reality. What we perceive to be a seeming solid, stable and static universe is actually a seething maelstrom of subatomic particles.
The smallest particles physicists study are not solid but are short-lived little sparks of energy fleetingly popping in and out of existence.
All elementary particles interact with each other by exchanging energy through other quantum particles, which appear out of nowhere. The ZPF can be thought of as a threshold. What scientists are studying is what comes through that threshold to form what they call quantum foam.
The smallest particles are called ‘virtual particles,’ and they appear through this threshold and only exist for an instant (10 -23 of a second). In their brief existence they interact with larger particles in such a way as to determine quantum states (build the universe). The fleeting particles generated during this brief moment differ from ‘real’ particles because they only exist during that exchange.
I like to picture the sparks shooting out of a crackling fire, only instead of a fire there is a boundary beyond which scientists cannot see. The ZPF is a boundary beyond which is the source of our universe. Time-space comes from beyond this area, and so the ZPF is of concern and study by all quantum physicists.

I left the prestigious work in a research and development firm where I was working on an astrolabe type invention for Yale University professor, Everett Barber, because at age 12 I had found a way to probe into the ZPF to discover where our universe comes from. Few scientists have seen the source of physical particles, only their emergence after breaking through the time-space barrier of the ZPF. I couldn’t continue working in research and development because I was supposed to accept physicalism, which I knew was wrong. At 12 years old I had seen the source of our universe.

Are quantum virtual particles waves or physical things?
Quantum virtual particles are considered to be waves rather than physical things, but the wave symbol is not what they are. The symbol or diagram is not what is there any more than a child’s stick drawing of a person is actually the person. It is sometimes assumed by most that energy lacks any further detail or complexity, and this is not true. You cannot see a person’s thinking, but that does not mean they have no thoughts or images in their mind.
Quantum virtual particles are disturbances in fields — waves of energy. We call them particles only because that is what we always have called the smallest “units” that form matter. They are not actually solid matter but behave more like consciousness or little animals, forming groups like fish in schools or birds in flocks.
It is understood that the smallest matter particles — quantum virtual particles — are disturbances in active fields of electromagnetic energy. They are not really particles or units, but something that cannot be illustrated without distorting the reality of what quantum virtual particles really are.
Illustrations actually lead you away from the reality of what quantum virtual particles actually are. To someone that never had an emotion, how would you describe an emotion? Would you use an illustration? Scientific illustrations and math separate you from the reality of what they intend to depict.
Internal Science probes into particles and therefore conveys their nature in a way that illustrations and math cannot. Most scientists would assume that only physical instruments can probe the depths of matter, but this is a mistake. Physical instruments cannot penetrate the Zero Point Field and are unable to bring back any kind of overview of what is within the ZPF.
I conducted experiments in a different way, and what I discovered inside the field requires a new kind of science to convey. The traditional physical science that is relied upon is highly limited. We know due to recent scientific experiments that information can travel instantaneously across the universe, yet the laws of physics tell us that nothing can travel faster than light in this dimension. Therefore it is known that something else exists. What it is, scientists do not know, because they are using the wrong methods. They cannot perceive or enter into the field. The information they need does not exist within this dimension.
I am not one to be limited by the worldviews of others. A scientist is objective, meaning that they are not swayed by the assumptions of those who have gone before. I worked in a private research and development facility at age 13, but I decided early on that the way research was being conducted was limiting the data received. We were unnecessarily limiting the scope of information that could be obtained by insisting on old methods of gathering facts.

Why it is called the Zero Point Field
The Zero Point Field was called ‘zero’ because fluctuations in the field are still detectable in temperatures of absolute zero, the lowest possible energy state, where all matter has been removed and nothing is supposed to be left to make any motion. Zero-point energy is the energy present in the emptiest possible state of space at the lowest possible energy, out of which no more energy could be removed—the closest that motion of subatomic matter ever gets to zero. The uncertainty principle says there is always ever-present zero-point energy everywhere.
Zero Point Field energy is a region of Influence. A field is a matrix or medium like gravity considered a force. It is an electromagnetic field sending out waves of energy at the speed of light. An electromagnetic field is simply a convenient abstraction to try to make sense of the actions of electricity and magnetism and their ability to influence objects at a distance – and, technically, into infinity.

The scientific establishment has been falling behind
The scientific establishment cannot really define what anything is, or what electromagnetic energy is. Although that is changing at this time.
What they do know is that a ‘real’ particle is nothing more than a little knot of energy which briefly emerges and disappears back into the underlying field. Particles cannot be separated from the empty space around them.

Mass is an Illusion
We now know that the relationship of mass to energy is actually a statement about the energy of quarks and electrons in what we call matter caused by interaction with the ZPF fluctuations. Matter is not a fundamental property of physics. The Einstein equation was simply a recipe for the amount of energy necessary to create the appearance of mass. When I was conducting my first independent research experiments beyond that barrier at age 12, I was operating entirely outside the boundaries of what 1975 orthodoxy could name or comprehend. I was accessing the generative, non-physical framework that the rest of the scientific world was only just beginning to build a vocabulary for.
Stochastic Electrodynamics (SED): Physicists like Timothy Boyer in the 1970s, and later Harold Puthoff, Bernhard Haisch, and Alfonso Rueda, began publishing papers specifically using the phrase Zero Point Field.
I was so incredibly impressed by what I was learning in the 1970s that I decided to conduct an experiment. That initial experiment was such a massive paradigm shift in my life that it led to over 50 years of additional experiments that explored what existed beyond The Zero Point Field (ZPF).

Longer answer as to what ZPF energy is and how it forms matter particles
Consciousness and matter are both electromagnetic energy. Zero Point Field energy is consciousness emerging as matter.
Matter particles, however, are not what we once thought they were. Matter particles are no more than spheres of complex energy interactions resembling electrical storms or miniature solar systems.
Zero Point Field particles and virtual particles are not solid. Nothing is solid. What we perceive to be solid is an illusion. But because our hand cannot pass through certain illusions, we call these illusions solid matter.

Quantum virtual particles are both waves and “physical things.” Both thoughts and matter are electromagnetic energy.

Everything in the universe (all matter, electrons, photons, etc.) are composed of electromagnetic energy, and the scientific establishment has not come to any consensus as to what electromagnetic fields are.
