Chapter One: How to Manifest

Be the person you want to be

Reality is psychological. Einstein’s friend and colleague, David Bohm calls all of reality one unbroken energy movement. He calls the inner reality of energy that forms the multiverse the “Implicate Order.” The Implicated Order manifests as the “Explicate Order.”

In other words, your life and environment are a hologram of psychological energy, and the energy is a projection of whatever is going on in your mind. The composite of your beliefs, thoughts, feelings, expectations, level of confidence, what you visualize, moods and assumptions determine what is projected. You must take control of your inner subjective world and direct it into the events you want to experience with confidence. You must also act on the intuitive directives that come about in response to applying this principle correctly.

You must acquire the goals in the same way an archer acquires the bullseye, with the proper footing or whatever and then fire the arrow when confidence is high. You must acquire the goal internally, and when confidence is high, act.

You are either a victim of haphazard thoughts, which is random, disorganized thinking, (also called thinking by default or being on autopilot) or you are focused on your goals and you organize your inner world to bring about those goals.

With deliberate conscious intent, form a mental picture of the state desired and person you want to be. Then focus your attention on being that person in your imagination. Visualize what you want your life to be in realistic detail just as if you were looking at it in an ordinary state of mind without straining and without other ideas competing for your attention. In other words, be like the archer by focusing ONLY on the goal desired. FEEL yourself to be in that state as if it were the reality that surrounds you, as if you had acquired the goal and were now living it.

Do this for a few minutes a day, up to twice a day for ten minutes, but don’t overdo it or your rational mind will tend to argue against it. When you visualize the goal achieved in present tense, cut out all distractions for that period of time. While you are visualizing, feel the power of your consciousness. Believe you will get results. Then let it go completely. Know that your inner self will take that thoughtform and manifest it. Leave that work to your inner self. Then notice what attracts you as you go about your daily activities. You will be attracted to that which you need to make your goal a reality.

When you make a request on a computer to open a file some computers will say “working on it” before the file appears. The same thing happens after you visualize except you don’t get the notice. Your inner self needs time to work on your request and it will do so. It will line up the people, job offers, coincidences or whatever is required to manifest your goal even if the odds seem stacked against you. It doesn’t matter what the odds are because on inner levels those odds or impediments don’t exist. It can happen, but let it go, because your inner self works best when you aren’t waiting for results or constantly checking for results. It’s good to acknowledge the results you get them, but don’t be impatient and don’t focus on the process. The process is the domain of the inner self and your focus on needing results can only interfere.

Detach from needing results.

In the meantime, you want to look at videos of what you want or visit places that resemble what you want to possess. The idea is to focus on what you want, stay inspired and positive, and live in the feeling-state of having it. Form as close of an estimate of what you want in your mind, feelings and environment as you can.

In general, keep your focus on everything positive in your life and memories. Do nurturing and uplifting activities. Make this a way of life, not something you do once to get what you want. Become a positive person and dwell in all things positive and uplifting. Always see the glass as being half full rather than half empty. Focus on the accomplishments of the day, the pleasures such as the meal and view. Stay in a state of joy and happiness as best you can. Be like a thirteen-year-old with the world of possibilities opening up and you are certain you will have it all. Don’t ever doubt or think, “Why has it taken this long for me to get to this point.” Doubts or thinking it’s taking too long work against you. Don’t be deadly serious. You will get better results if you make it more like a children’s game of make-believe.

It usually takes about a month after visualizing to see results. A positive state of mind, however, brings immediate and long-term benefits. Psychological energy always manifests in some way. Reality is composed of solidified emotional energy, the patterns of which are shaped by long-standing beliefs and feelings.

Affirm the goodness of yourself and your reality, learn to stay focused on the positive and to bring your mind as high as possible in lofty thoughts and expectation. Look at reality and your opportunities in fresh and positive ways like a child. Be child-like but not childish.

If you have had years of experience that has led you to disappointments, it may take an equal amount of time to reverse that momentum. Allow time for changes to happen. Then, if it happens quickly, you will be even more excited and encouraged by the results.

It is possible to get instant results, especially with a state of pure joy, but normally we must change the energy momentum of previous thinking and work toward our goals in the normal ways, advancing in life gradually. The difference is when you are manifesting correctly it happens more easily, with less resistance and more coincidences and leaps in the direction you are aiming. Forward gains may require changing negative beliefs to positive ones and creating a genuinely positive mind. Be the person you want to be so that you can have what you want and do what you want.

Ninety percent of manifesting is being positive, having simple faith that things will go your way and celebrating the beauty of your existence and your opportunities. Confidence is crucial. Be confident in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. Use your beliefs as tools to achieve those goals. Focus on everything positive and stay in an inspired state of mind as often as possible, and especially first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up. High energy, joy and affirmations work great.

Think of every positive thought and emotion as being an investment. Don’t squander your life energy by piddling it away with mundane and negative thoughts. See the magic in your life and in the moment; invest in the outcomes you desire most with positive thoughts. Your thoughts are money in the bank. See your thoughts and emotions as the investments you make to get what you want. Make deposits rather than withdrawals. Think about what you have rather than what you don’t have. Focus on how far you have come rather than how far you must go. Recall the best times and those memories in which you demonstrated what you can be at your best.

In respect to any goal, create the hypothesis you want and collect evidence to support it. A hypothesis can be anything, from “I am going to have a great day,” to “I am an amazing, beautiful and intelligent person.” Ignore anything and everything negative or unhelpful. Don’t doubt yourself or what you are doing. Approach life in this way (as explained in this and the last paragraph) and success is yours.

A child that is positive and anticipates the best possible result in all situations is going to do far better than a negative or pouting teenager, a dour person or a complainer or someone who thinks they must work hard because nothing comes easily. Observe and learn. Don’t push yourself when you are tired, rest and then get going. Get all your ducks heading in the same direction. Your beliefs are tools. Assume the best, stay excited.

If you blow it and start complaining, don’t worry about it, just place a positive thought alongside the negative one and pull out of your slump as best you can. Even a little improvement in your attitude is going to help you. If you were negative 90% if the time and you whittle it down to 80%, see that as being a good thing. Then go for 70%. Don’t make it a chore. Have fun, enjoy your life as best you can, be happy. When you are happy you can change your life. Once you get some improvement it becomes easier to be positive. When you are sad, depressed or angry, you can’t change your life, or you are on hold until you get back to being happy again.

However, you cannot pause the creation process. As long as you are thinking, believing, assuming or feeling you are creating and attracting. This is what needs to be learned. This is the ABCs of life management and how to manifest. There is no time out.

Knowing how to do it doesn’t make you a success. You have to do it. Some people can’t, but they may do better in other levels of reality. It is not always easy in this world, but it does get easier once you are further along in the process. Jumping jacks are a pain in the neck when you are overweight but come easily once you are fit. Older people sometimes forget how good they used to feel. Once you are mentally and emotionally fit and take all of this to heart your life can become like magic. But being fit mentally and emotionally is not work in the conventional sense. It is all about assumption and expectation.

I like to point out that what we sometimes call a spoiled person is better off than a person who believes that they must earn anything they want. A child that is given what he wants and later in life expects it has a beneficial energy pattern operating. That doesn’t imply a spoiled attitude will help you. Gratitude and appreciation are central to manifesting. Appreciate everything you have and see the universe as being abundant and friendly. It will give you everything you want when you get in sync and get it right.
